Painting with Light


Our weekly assignment in Small Format this past week was "painting with light." The above is basically me jumping around like crazy with a flashlight, and it's the one that I turned in. Definitely one of the funnest assignment that we've had so far.


That is a long sparkler that was bent and attached to an electric drill. It took a little bit of practice to be able to hold it still, but I think it looks pretty cool.

    These are both very interesting photos. The first one makes me think of tribal art. I really like how the lines go from think to thin.

    The second one is so uniform. I don't know if I'd ever think to use a power drill.
